Feeling the heat? Have little ones that need a cool treat that tastes good and is clean?

Put a smile on your child’s face with this Protein Smoothie Popsicles Recipe from The Eat-Clean Diet Family & Kids Book

INGREDIENTS:

  •  2 cups/480ml plain low-fat yogurt
  • 2 scoops vanilla-flavored protein powder
  • 2 cups/480ml frozen berries
  • 1/4 cup/60 ml agave nectar

PREPARATION:

1. Place all ingredients in a bowl of a food processor or blender. Process until just combined.

2. Pour into popsicle molds or Dixie cups with a popsicle stick centered in the mixture.

NOTE: If you’re wondering if protein powder is ok for children…Tosca says it’s ok in small quantities and when combined with whole foods (like in this recipe). Just make sure the protein powder is as natural as possible. Tosca recommends Sun Warrior protein powder .
