Have you picked up your June issue of @OxygenMagazine? There’s something *extra special* in this issue.
Some of my favourite pages are:
p. 24: Editor’s Letter by Stacey Kennedy. This is one of the first pages I read. She suggests “Start incorporating one recipe from Oxygen into your weekly meal plan.” - That sounds familiar : )
p.26: Robert Kennedy Pub Page. I will miss reading his column.
p.43: JUNE WORKOUT CHALLENGE with the gorgeous Julie Bonnet
p.54: EAT NOT, WANT NOT. Another long time favourite
p.58: THE EAT-CLEAN DIET Vegetarian Book advertisement. Hands down, one of my favourite cookbooks and I’m not even a vegetarian. I am as carnivore as them come! Just call me ‘T-Rex’
p.66 & 67: Tosca’s RAISE THE BAR: I have watched this amazing woman transform over the years and she still continues to work on personal growth, even though she’s so amazing! Her column always gives me the lift I am looking for.
p.68 & 69: LEAN ON PALEO. I was very excited to see some info on Paleo and Crossfit in Oxygen.
p. 70: POST-GYM DRINK (smoothie) ‘Purple Solution’ recipe
p.72 &73: Cover Girl Confidential on Chady Dunmore. I still remember reading from her Success Story that she even slept in her gym clothes at night so when her alarm went off, she got it, and went out the door. No excuses right?
p. 74 & 76: FAT LOOS You Ask! THIS IS MY FAVOURITE SECTION OF THIS MONTH’S ISSUE : ) If you haven’t figured out why yet I will be posting on this shortly *****
p.88-92: Stop Yo-Yo Dieting - YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN! I can admit that this was me for at least 10-12 years of my lifespan.
… and every page after this! Honestly, the June issue is a powerful one!
NOTE: There are so many of you who have made some of the most amazing body and mind transformations that I have ever seen and I want to encourage you to apply to ‘Future of Fitness’ and ‘Success Stories’. You don’t have to be a competitor, fitness model, etc. Oxygen looks for people who look, feel, and practice healthy lifestyles and this fits every one of you! You need to someone who has a story about their journey (and of course a before and after photo). We are all human and are all meant to shine, give yourself the permission to do so.
