I’m a very #optimistic #person but let me be #real for a second. I am working hard to bring my best to my #pro show debut and I know my #arms will look better than last year but the reality is that my arms will not be where I want them in 15 weeks. This is a personal standard and I know it will take 1-2 years of development to get them where I want but I will continue to work for this outcome. Yesterday I enjoyed the first of many sober patio nights. 120 days until WBFF Worlds and my consistency needs to be spot on. 

Two years ago when I first started my competition prep I had no idea how I would be able to stop having a weekly glass or two of wine or the random party night. But once I created a solid focus with my end goals in mind wine or beer had nothing on me. The longer I trained, ate clean and was consistent, the easier it became especially because of how GOOD I felt without it. Mind you in my off season I do enjoy the occasional glass for special events. Just know that if you are wanting to compete and you are not sure if you can have sober weekends that it is possible to give up alcohol. Your goals need to be stronger than partying.

Today I am 19 weeks out from my Pro show debut and even when I am traveling I need to be on-season and remain focused. For my travels I packed up clean eats and reading material for the soul. In advance I prepared Sunwarrior protein pancakes, extra lean ground turkey and chicken breasts with broccoli, and vegetables for snacking such as carrots, celery, and bell peppers. At the airport I also picked up 3L of water, 1 vanilla roobias tea, and 1 black coffee. My body and mind are thankful. Let’s do this!
