It’s only been a few weeks in my new position and I already feel so welcome.

My co-worker is so kind and thoughtful! She left me a delicious homemade treat on my desk. It has blueberries in it…blueberries are my favourite berry! It smells so good too! I need to wrap it up and give it away, there isn’t any room for it in my competition prep. Carry on!

86 Days Out: No Thank You But Thank You?

I just found out that Thursdays are ‘treat day’. My fantastic new co-worker asked if I would like to come and get some treats during break and I said “No thank you”.

Bless his heart. He brought me this fresh baked good anyway and appears to have dried fruit and jam instead.

I said “Thank you” but will not be eating it.

Here we go again! If you followed me during my last competition prep you will know exactly what I’m talking about.

Work Conversation:
Co-Worker 1: “You’re going to have some cake right?!”
Me: *smile* … [no reply]
Co-Worker 2: “Yeah, you better make sure she eats some because she’s withering away.”
Me: *laugh* oh yeah right… (as I think to myself that I could bench press that person - lol)
People crack me up! Gotta love them. In the end, I cut the cake for everyone else and didn’t have any.

It’s okay to eat your own clean eats when you’re out with others. Don’t feel bad or apologize for not ordering or eating your own meal. If your plan was to bring and eat your own meals then stick with it. If your plan was to order something “clean” off the menu then go for it. If your plan was to order your “guilt-free” meal then do it! Whatever your plan is stick with it.
You shouldn’t have to explain or be apologetic for the food you’re eating. You also shouldn’t hold others back from ordering what they want either. If you’re surrounded by people who support you, this will NEVER be an issue.
EAT & BE MERRY!
[Thanks again Ms. Sparkles xo]

I just said “No thank you” to pizza and breadsticks. This WAS hard! It’s cold out, it’s Friday, and a few slices of pizza would hit the spot … temporarily … but I just can’t. I already had my cheat meal yesterday and I need to up my focus for this fitness model competition in 120 days. Carry on!

Smells so good! But not going to do it!

Day 17/134: I said “No thank you” to Valentine’s Day treats and 3 different types of cake! Booyah!!

No cheats for 14 days straight. Abs are popping more than ever with the consistent clean eating.

Day 16/135: I said “No thank you” to chocolate.
PS: If you’re just following me now, I LOVE CHOCOLATE!! But I’m not ready to cheat yet and it’s not on my terms so I will continue to hold true to my word.
